INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip and put any files ending in ".package" into this folder:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads
Or if you are a frequent downloader, it might help you organize your downloads better if you created a new folder and named it "Simslice", like this:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\Simslice

(Note: The "Downloads" folder is not created when the game is installed, but only when the auto-installer from the game is first used. So if you don't have this "Downloads" folder or if you are new to downloading, simply create the folder in that location (spelled exactly the same - use the capital "D"))

GAMEPLAY INFO:

The file, "7Simslice-TS2-BatlethThrowing-Batleth.package", is used in both the Klingon and Federation versions of the Throwing Station. It is the exact same file in both .zip files. You only need to install it once, but if you install it twice and "overwrite" the first file, it won't hurt anything either.

Pie Menu Interactions - Klingon Word Definitions:

"G'hob" means "do battle" or "wage war" - in this game, Sims will step up and start throwing bat'leths at the target. I took a little leeway with the spelling.
"Bej" means "watch" - in this game, Sims loitering about nearby can observe your prowess with the blade.

The Bat'leth ("sword of honor") was first depicted in the Star Trek the Next Generation television series. The Sword of Kahless replica (the blade Sims stand behind when throwing) is modeled after the blade once owned by Kahless the Unforgettable, the first Klingon Emporer - that Bat'leth is an historic relic as it was the first of it's kind ever made.

Information about the fictional History of the Bat'leth and the Legend of Kahless can be found in many sites online, including here:

NEED MORE HELP?:

If you have any questions about downloading, unzipping and installing, please visit our FAQ page which has very detailed instructions at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm

Any problems with crashes, freezes or objects not showing up are 99.9% of the time related to either "requirements" not being met, OR a fluke in the downloading/installing process... but it's NOT because of the actual object coding itself. Check our FAQ page for a very detailed list of these issues and resolutions you can do to resolve them. Typically the fix is to double check the requirements, and if you meet them, then delete and redownload the item. Do NOT use Simzip to unzip them. Further information as previously stated, is detailed on our FAQ page at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm. If you still need help after consulting our FAQ page, please contact us and we'll try to help further.
