INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip and put the file ending in ".package" into this folder:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads
Or if you are a frequent downloader, it might help you organize your downloads better if you created a new folder and named it "Simslice", like this:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\Simslice

(Note: The "Downloads" folder is not created when the game is installed, but only when the auto-installer from the game is first used. So if you don't have this "Downloads" folder or if you are new to downloading, simply create the folder in that location (spelled exactly the same - use the capital "D"))

DESCRIPTION:

Beer Keg!
Buy Mode Price: 150
Buy Mode Category: Miscellaneous --> Parties
Statistics: Fun 6; Hunger 1; Party behaviors and social interactions
Enabled for use at-home and on all away-from-home lots
Requirements: The Sims 2 University expansion pack

Object Description:

Have all the fun of a keg party in your very own game! Similar to our TS1 Party Treats, there are lots of fun social interactions and behaviors coded in to give your Sims a truer, wilder party experience! Behaviors include streaking, flirting, dancing, fighting, and much much more. Sims with sensitive stomachs might be wise to drink responsibly... or they might lose their lunch. Also, a "Remove All Cups" option will delete all the dirty cups from your floor in an instant - so you don't have to worry about the messy aftermath. See the enclosed "readme" file for additional details. Party on Wayne!

GAME PLAY INFO:

Just having the keg on the lot, whether it's drank from or not, will potentially elicit wilder behaviors and social interactions, such as: streaking, blowing party horns & rattlers, insulting, fighting, flirting, dancing, ralphing, and much more (including a possible proposition or two). However the more Sims actually drink, the more often these behaviors might be elicited.

The "Remove All Cups" option will remove littered beer cups and littered cups from the Fruit Punch Barrel too, if any. If a Sim is drinking beer, it will not remove that cup. That would be so uncool. :)

Streaking is a social experience (or maybe it's anti-social...) Either way, if there are no other Sims on your lot, your Sim won't streak. They may spin, strip, then change back to normal clothes, but that's it. They need an audience.

The color of the beer is dyed purple, just like with the Fruit Punch Barrel. It's an effect we hope to remedy someday, but the benefits of leaving it this way for now outweighed the potential problems trying to change it.

The keg does not card, but you should. Supervise your Sim children well because if they drink too much from the keg, they won't handle it as well as an adult Sim.

ORIGINAL SIMS NOTE: In the description, we mentioned our TS1 Party Treats. If you play the original Sims game (TS1) and would like to learn more about them, they can be downloaded from our TS1 Miscellaneous Objects section here:

NEED MORE HELP?:

If you have any questions about downloading, unzipping and installing, please visit our FAQ page which has very detailed instructions at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm

Any problems with crashes, freezes or objects not showing up are 99.9% of the time related to either "requirements" not being met, OR a fluke in the downloading/installing process... but it's NOT because of the actual object coding itself. Check our FAQ page for a very detailed list of these issues and resolutions you can do to resolve them. Typically the fix is to double check the requirements, and if you meet them, then delete and redownload the item. Do NOT use Simzip to unzip them. Further information as previously stated, is detailed on our FAQ page at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm. If you still need help after consulting our FAQ page, please contact us and we'll try to help further.
