INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip and put all any files ending in ".package" into this folder:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads
Or if you are a frequent downloader, it might help you organize your downloads better if you created a new folder and named it "Simslice", like this:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\Simslice

(Note: The "Downloads" folder is not created when the game is installed, but only when the auto-installer from the game is first used. So if you don't have this "Downloads" folder or if you are new to downloading, simply create the folder in that location (spelled exactly the same - use the capital "D"))

Inspired by the heads-in-a-jar from the Futurama TV series, now your Sims can have familiar celebrities preserved and living forever in their own head jar homes. A wide variety of fun events are available. Feed them, exercize, talk with them, mock them... many different interactions, including dozens of fun animations and effects can give your Sims benefits, such as increased Fun, Social, and Comfort points depending on the action, not to mention it's intriguing appeal as a very... unique conversation piece!

At the time of this writing, twenty-two (22) different celebrity heads are available. The file name will tell you which one is included with this download. Check our TS2 Objects section for additional objects and/or updates:

GAME PLAY INFO:

When putting the head on the floor, you will have the extra "Talk" interaction, where you can gain Fun and Social points. "Talk" is not available when placed on a surface (table, counter, etc.). Heads prefer not to be within kicking distance sitting on an open floor (would you, if you were just a head?). While on the floor, you won't have the "Watch" or "Punch" interactions - those become available when the head is resting on a surface.

Feeding the head makes it happy, but does very slightly increase the Dirty points (one point each time, maxes out at 3) so it's not much (it's less than a puddle of water). But you will have the "Clean!" interaction when the Dirty points are not zero. It only takes a Sim second or two to clean the tank, so it won't take up much of your Sim's time. You might want to clean the head's tank daily if possible - living in the fluid over time may cause water to splash out and also causes slight Dirty points to accrue in the jar tank (again, maxed out at 3 points and will not get any dirtier than that, ever).

The name plate text will be reversed on the back side of the head's base. It's hardly noticeable, since that's the side that usually faces a wall. It's just the way the texture wrapped, and we'll try to change it during a future update if necessary.

NEED MORE HELP?:

If you have any questions about downloading, unzipping and installing, please visit our FAQ page which has very detailed instructions at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm

Any problems with crashes, freezes or objects not showing up are 99.9% of the time related to either "requirements" not being met, OR a fluke in the downloading/installing process... but it's NOT because of the actual object coding itself. Check our FAQ page for a very detailed list of these issues and resolutions you can do to resolve them. Typically the fix is to double check the requirements, and if you meet them, then delete and redownload the item. Do NOT use Simzip to unzip them. Further information as previously stated, is detailed on our FAQ page at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm. If you still need help after consulting our FAQ page, please contact us and we'll try to help further.
