INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip and put any files ending in ".package" into this folder:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads
Or if you are a frequent downloader, it might help you organize your downloads better if you created a new folder and named it "Simslice", like this:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\Simslice

(Note: The "Downloads" folder is not created when the game is installed, but only when the auto-installer from the game is first used. So if you don't have this "Downloads" folder or if you are new to downloading, simply create the folder in that location (spelled exactly the same - use the capital "D"))

DESCRIPTION:

Knockout Gas!

Buy Mode Price: 20
Buy Mode Category: Miscellaneous -> Miscellaneous
Statistics: Fun 2
Enabled for use on all lots
Requirements: None - made to work with any version of The Sims 2.

Object Description:

A fun (non-lethal) way to let your guests know that... you'd rather be alone right now. Have a "blast" at your next party (but don't expect any "thank you" notes). Gas will put all Sims in the room to sleep, so make sure your mischievious Sim is well away from the fume's blast radius before it goes off.

*****************************************************************************

GAMEPLAY INFO:

The gas drops the Energy levels of all Sims (and Pets) in the room to -100. Some pets and even some NPCs may not always "drop" to the ground (but most will - see the screenshot on the webpage of the postal worker being knocked-out).

The gas only affects those in the same room as the cannister, not those in other rooms. "Outside" on the lot is considered a "room" too, so if you use it outside it will affect all those outside (but not those inside).

If the gas is used inside, there is a strong chance your Sim (the one setting it off) will flee the room in the nick of time and not be affected by the gas. However if the gas is used outside, the winds can shift and there is a good chance that your Sim will not be able to flee the scene in time and will be affected by the gas.

NEED MORE HELP?:

If you have any questions about downloading, unzipping and installing, please visit our FAQ page which has very detailed instructions at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm

Any problems with crashes, freezes or objects not showing up are 99.9% of the time related to either "requirements" not being met, OR a fluke in the downloading/installing process... but it's NOT because of the actual object coding itself. Check our FAQ page for a very detailed list of these issues and resolutions you can do to resolve them. Typically the fix is to double check the requirements, and if you meet them, then delete and redownload the item. Do NOT use Simzip to unzip them. Further information as previously stated, is detailed on our FAQ page at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm. If you still need help after consulting our FAQ page, please contact us and we'll try to help further.
