INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip and put all seven (7) files ending in ".package" into this folder:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads
Or if you are a frequent downloader, it might help you organize your downloads better if you created a new folder and named it "Simslice", like this:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\Simslice

(Note: The "Downloads" folder is not created when the game is installed, but only when the auto-installer from the game is first used. So if you don't have this "Downloads" folder or if you are new to downloading, simply create the folder in that location (spelled exactly the same - use the capital "D"))

DESCRIPTION:

Party Treats
Buy Mode Price: 100
Buy Mode Category: Miscellaneous -> Parties
Statistics: Hunger 3; Fun 3; Hygiene -1; Bladder -1
Enabled for use at-home and on all away-from-home lots
Requirements: None - made to work with any version of The Sims 2 game.

Object Description:

Put a bunch of these bowls out at your next party and watch your guests (and family members) gobble them down. Loads of amusing social interactions and entertaining behaviors will immediately follow -- over thirty (30) possible outcomes to light up your party! Four different "treat" and "bowl" colors included, allowing for up to sixteen (16) different bowls of treats available. This TS2 version is similar to our original TS1 Party Treats which was posted as our premiere site-opening object back in 2002, but this version has a lot more effects and crazy outcomes. Enjoy responsibly! (or not) :D

If you like these, check out our Party Treat "Dispenser" (for guests only) and earn a profit selling Party Treats, or check out our Party Treat "Easter Egg Basket" full of edible easter eggs with the same "treat" effects.

If you play the original Sims (TS1) game, check out the Party Treats in our TS1 Miscellaneous Objects section too:
http://www.simslice.com/Objects-Miscellaneous-pg5.htm
(they are on pg. 5 at the time this was written, but contents shift over time so try the next page if it's not there)

Updated April 2006: Sims will no longer try to sit down when they grab a Party Treat. This interfered with some animations and was unnecessary anyway because it doesn't take long to eat a lil' treat. A treat piece will not be seen to fall on the floor when the Sim first runs up to grab one. Also the "ads" were increased a bit to allow for more treat-grabbing. :)

GAME PLAY INFO:

These are social "treats", so you need to have at least two Sims on the lot to use them. Children and Toddlers are too young to indulge.

There are six different kinds of treats: Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, Pink and Brown. Historically, Sims have not liked the brown ones. ;)

There are four different color options included for treats and bowls. Choose any combination you prefer (16 possible bowls of treats available). The "treat" colors will be the same however no matter which treat-bowl combo you choose. For example, if you choose the glowing green treats, your Sims will still somehow find red, blue, green, etc. treats in the bowl. :p

These treats are practically irresistable by Sims. To get them to stop eating them, just delete the bowls.

The bowl will never run out of treats. Happy Happy Joy Joy.

NEED MORE HELP?:

If you have any questions about downloading, unzipping and installing, please visit our FAQ page which has very detailed instructions at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm

Any problems with crashes, freezes or objects not showing up are 99.9% of the time related to either "requirements" not being met, OR a fluke in the downloading/installing process... but it's NOT because of the actual object coding itself. Check our FAQ page for a very detailed list of these issues and resolutions you can do to resolve them. Typically the fix is to double check the requirements, and if you meet them, then delete and redownload the item. Do NOT use Simzip to unzip them. Further information as previously stated, is detailed on our FAQ page at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm. If you still need help after consulting our FAQ page, please contact us and we'll try to help further.
