INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip and put the file ending in ".package" into this folder:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads
Or if you are a frequent downloader, it might help you organize your downloads better if you created a new folder and named it "Simslice", like this:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\Simslice

(Note: The "Downloads" folder is not created when the game is installed, but only when the auto-installer from the game is first used. So if you don't have this "Downloads" folder or if you are new to downloading, simply create the folder in that location (spelled exactly the same - use the capital "D"))

DESCRIPTION:

The Ultimate Aspiration Adjuster!
Buy Mode Price: 10
Buy Mode Category: Miscellaneous
Statistics: See below...
Enabled for use at-home and on all away-from-home lots
Requirements: None - Made to work with any version of The Sims 2 game

Object Description:

Wow, the game has become confusing with all the different features now using the word "aspiration". It's hard to know what is what. Well, stress about it no more! By the power of the mighty grilled cheese sandwich, you can choose, adjust or max out any Aspiration-related feature, such as: Aspiration Benefit Points, Lifetime Aspiration Meter, original (daily) Aspiration Meter, Aspiration Reward Points (to purchase any Aspiration Reward Object), conjure up a Grilled Cheese sandwich out of thin air, and of course change your primary or secondary Aspiration (Pleasure, Knowledge, Grilled Cheese, etc.) anytime you want... and to anything you want, including the secret "Grilled Cheese" Aspiration (for Nightlife and FreeTime users) which does not appear on the primary Aspiration Selection screen. If you don't own Nightlife or FreeTime, you can still use this "Cadillac of sandwiches" to adjust the other features instantly... but you will be without cheese. Unlike us. Wait, lemme rephrase that...

GAME PLAY INFO:

FreeTime expansion pack users can "Conjure Grilled Cheese" and eat a sandwich anytime they want (benefits Hunger greatly, and with no drain on Bladder or Energy). If you don't have FreeTime, you can still use this sandwich. This is a super sandwich. It will never spoil, never stink and flies will never swarm around it. Of course, without FreeTime, you can't really eat it either. It just sits there. It's a decorative sandwich. How fancy.

Nightlife, Open For Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage or FreeTime users will get the additional "Pleasure Aspiration" in the "Choose Another" dialog. The secret Grilled Cheese Aspiration is also available but only for Nightlife or FreeTime users. If you don't have Nightlife or FreeTime, you can still use the other features.

FreeTime users now have a "secondary" life aspiration option. If you choose Grilled Cheese for that, then you cannot choose Grilled Cheese for your primary aspiration too -- the game won't allow the primary and secondary aspirations to be the same.

----- SPOILER -----

Want to know more about this illusive Grilled Cheese Aspiration?

Some have suggested that this Aspiration was inspired by the frequency with which some Sims made the sandwiches autonomously in The Sims 2 base game.

Known Wants (there might be more):
Eat Grilled Cheese
Serve Grilled Cheese
Make Grilled Cheese for Sim
Influence to Serve Grilled Cheese
Talk About Grilled Cheese

Known Fears (there might be more):
Burn Grilled Cheese
Be Rejected for Talk About Grilled Cheese,
Eat Spoiled Grilled Cheese
Eat Burned Grilled Cheese
Eat Rotten Grilled Cheese

Lifetime Wants (applicable if you have ANY expansion pack installed): Eat 200 Grilled Cheese sandwiches

The Grilled Cheese Aspiration is real, but it's not one you can pick from the list of aspirations (except for FreeTime users who can pick it as a secondary aspiration). It is not available during normal gameplay such as the pop up when a Sim is created, or grows into a teen or finishes their junior year at a university. However our "Ultimate Aspiration Adjuster" (formerly called the "Lifetime (Grilled Cheese) Aspiration Adjuster") will allow you to get this aspiration (or any other aspiration) anytime you want. If a Sim uses the ReNuYuSenso Orb when they aren't in Gold or Platinum mode, the Sim can get the Grilled Cheese Aspiration too. Their Lifetime Want (applicable if you have ANY expansion pack installed) will also change -- their want will be to eat 200 grilled cheese sandwiches.

Grilled Cheese Sim "wants" involve making, serving, eating or talking about grilled cheese sandwiches. Their fears involve (for example) being rejected for talking about Grilled Cheese and burning grilled cheese. To avoid burning a Grilled Cheese, try to get your Cooking skill up to at least four (4). Sims also want to influence other Sims to cook grilled cheese for them when they can. Sims with this aspiration can cook grilled cheese anytime during the day or night, whether they have the required cooking skills to make it or not. They also get the extra social interaction, "Talk... About Grilled Cheese".

NEED MORE HELP?:

If you have any questions about downloading, unzipping and installing, please visit our FAQ page which has very detailed instructions at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm

Any problems with crashes, freezes or objects not showing up are 99.9% of the time related to either "requirements" not being met, OR a fluke in the downloading/installing process... but it's NOT because of the actual object coding itself. Check our FAQ page for a very detailed list of these issues and resolutions you can do to resolve them. Typically the fix is to double check the requirements, and if you meet them, then delete and redownload the item. Do NOT use Simzip to unzip them. Further information as previously stated, is detailed on our FAQ page at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm. If you still need help after consulting our FAQ page, please contact us and we'll try to help further.
