INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip and put all files ending in ".package" into this folder:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads
Or if you are a frequent downloader, it might help you organize your downloads better if you created a new folder and named it "Simslice", like this:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\Simslice

(Note: The "Downloads" folder is not created when the game is installed, but only when the auto-installer from the game is first used. So if you don't have this "Downloads" folder or if you are new to downloading, simply create the folder in that location (spelled exactly the same - use the capital "D"))

GAME PLAY INFO:

Freely browse the complete clothing catalog found on Community and all other away-from-home lots.... but from the comforts of home! And all are for free!

Depending upon your computer's processing speed, there may be a slight pause while the catalog loads.

Because this is backward and forward compatible for any/all expansions, you might find additional Everyday clothing by clicking on "Everyday - More?" or "Everyday - Even More?" but in all likelihood those will only display the same "Everyday" clothes.

If you've "bought" clothing away-from-home before, you know how this works. You must click on an item and add it to your cart after each selection. Add as many items to your cart as you want. When you're done, click the checkbox. That's it! Your clothing is now available from any dresser - just click on "Plan Outfit..." on any dresser, choose your category and select your new attire for that category. The next time you "Change Into..." a new outfit, your Sim will be dressed in your new clothing.

Default dialog is set for your Sim's specific age and gender. You can choose outfits for other ages than your own (if it will let you), but it probably won't let you use those clothes until you are that age.

Minor coding added by Homeslice to the Pie Menu options, plus an "Info..." pie menu and seven (7) color options also thrown in to suit different themes, including a funky glowing green just for the hell of it. :)

NEED MORE HELP?:

If you have any questions about downloading, unzipping and installing, please visit our FAQ page which has very detailed instructions at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm

Any problems with crashes, freezes or objects not showing up are 99.9% of the time related to either "requirements" not being met, OR a fluke in the downloading/installing process... but it's NOT because of the actual object coding itself. Check our FAQ page for a very detailed list of these issues and resolutions you can do to resolve them. Typically the fix is to double check the requirements, and if you meet them, then delete and redownload the item. Do NOT use Simzip to unzip them. Further information as previously stated, is detailed on our FAQ page at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm. If you still need help after consulting our FAQ page, please contact us and we'll try to help further.
