INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip and put any files ending in ".package" into this folder:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads
Or if you are a frequent downloader, it might help you organize your downloads better if you created a new folder and named it "Simslice", like this:
C:\..\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\Simslice

(Note: The "Downloads" folder is not created when the game is installed, but only when the auto-installer from the game is first used. So if you don't have this "Downloads" folder or if you are new to downloading, simply create the folder in that location (spelled exactly the same - use the capital "D"))

Buy Mode Price: 910
Buy Mode Category: Comfort -> Recliners
Statistics: Comfort 10; Fun 4; Energy 2; Body!
Enabled for use on all lots
Requirements: None - made to work with any version of The Sims 2.

Object Description:

The ultimate recliner by La-z-Sim is here! No better way to earn your Comfort, Energy and even Fun points than to vibrate away your worries in this "Cadillac of recliner chairs"! Two vibration modes available with optional "Heat" mode for those who need a comfortable increase in their temperature. For those too lazy to visit the treadmill, Sims can work out by reclining back and forth to earn Body points! It's a longer process, but keep your butt planted there and it will pay off. Enjoy!

If you want more chair options, check out our TS2 Antique Electric Chair, in TS2 objects on page 12 at the time of this writing:

GAMEPLAY INFO:

All standard chair options (Sit, Nap, Chew/Scratch, etc.) are also available.

Vibrate: When vibrating, Sims may look like they are asleep, but they are not. They are just extemely relaxed. If the vibration timer turns off (if the Sim stops vibrating while still in the chair), they will continue to get all the vibration benefits until they get up. In some cases, Sims might still be vibrating for a short time after they get up from the chair. That's because it's a reeeeeeally good vibrating chair. ;)

Vibrate with Heat: This will give your Sim slightly more Comfort points than vibrating without heat. If you have the Seasons expansion pack, you will also get a slight temperature increase (nothing unsafe, but at the highest it could show as being bearly in the red zone).

Workout: This is the laziest workout we know of... so it will take longer to earn Body points than, say your standard treadmill or weight bench. It takes 50 back & forth reclining cycles for the Sim to earn one Body point. Unlike other exercise objects, you WON'T see the standard Skill Building Bubble over their heads as they are earning Body points, but it is happening and popup dialogs on the right side will alert you when a point is gained. If a Sim gets tired or bored during the "workout", they will stop on their own and let you know.

Sims gain Fun points while working out, and expend no additional Energy (they only expend what is normally expended during the course of the day).

Sims with Energy < -80 or Body Points = 10 will not see the "Work Out!" option when the chair is clicked on.

Visitors and Children can use the chairs too.

Color options (10) include: brown, tan, white, black, blue, purple, red, green, pink and gold.

NEED MORE HELP?:

If you have any questions about downloading, unzipping and installing, please visit our FAQ page which has very detailed instructions at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm

Any problems with crashes, freezes or objects not showing up are 99.9% of the time related to either "requirements" not being met, OR a fluke in the downloading/installing process... but it's NOT because of the actual object coding itself. Check our FAQ page for a very detailed list of these issues and resolutions you can do to resolve them. Typically the fix is to double check the requirements, and if you meet them, then delete and redownload the item. Do NOT use Simzip to unzip them. Further information as previously stated, is detailed on our FAQ page at http://www.simslice.com/faq.htm. If you still need help after consulting our FAQ page, please contact us and we'll try to help further.
